Basic Gundog

The foundational program of a finished retriever or a solid hunting companion for the average duck hunter. Obedience, a solid compulsion program, collar conditioning, marking in verious land and water situations, steadiness, place training, working through decoys; a dog that can start hunting at the end of basics and be a pleasure to spend time with afield. The basic retriever would be able to achieve a Started/Junior title in weekend hunt tests. This foundational program requires a four month commitment.
